"The soul knows no fear", heard this phrase the other day in a movie, which lead me to writing this journal.
When it comes to uncovering parts of yourself that have been suppressed and hidden, the best you can do for yourself is connect with the inner voice and listen gently. Journaling becomes part of this process, solitude and collaboration. Self-love embodiment is all about recognizing and honoring your unique and individual needs, allowing yourself to feel both emotionally and physically nurtured. At its core, self-love embodiment is a practice that encourages honoring oneself, recognizing personal boundaries, and taking proper care of oneself.
The love you hold has been there since you were born; it just seeks to be seen, heard and cherished. When you embody self-love, you become light as a feather, things move with more synchronized experiences and the sense of gratitude rises as you first open your eyes in the morning. The judgments of self slowly dissolve and you no longer are against self. Your communication towards self changes and you become aware of what you are energetically saying. This is day-to-day practice at the start, but once you embody the truth of self, you just become it.
These 7 books have helped me dive deeper into re-discovering self-love.
A Radical Awakening, written by Dr. Shefali
Between the World and Me, written by Au-Nehisi Coates
Andjeo Cuvar (The Valkyries), written by Paulo Coelho
What I know for sure, written by Oprah Winfrey
The Gift of Imperfection, written by Brent Brown
The Child's Changing Consciousness, written by Rudolf Steiner
Be the worst you can be, written by Charles Saatchi
Each one of these books I found profoundly informative as read throughout the pages. There are many forms and ways to embody self-love, most importantly being kind to yourself is essential. Self-love embodiment is all about being mindful of what you say to yourself, and recognizing that you are worthy and deserving of self-love and kind words. It’s important to remember that everyone is deserving of love and respect, and that by learning how to love ourselves, we can better care for ourselves and live happier, more fulfilled lives.
If you find interest in reading any of the mentioned books above, email me and I will mail you the desired book as a gift.
Blissings and yours truly,
