Very common questions; how did I start and how long have I been writing? Most of my life. The response comes back "me too". So there it is, it gives you a hint to start writing your memoir!

Dad recently brought me a Spomenar from 1990's and there were beautiful, romantic and laughable things to find. Spomenar is like a dairy, with questions and answers, art, love quotes, secrets, just creating it with your friends. The word itself means remembrance, pass through time. I am in process of re-creating something very smilar and it's incredible how my dad brought the booklet to inspire me ever more and continue in creative ways with my writing. Whether I am writing poetry, a short story, a memoir, notes, writing happens simultaneously. Realizing this, makes me cherish the little progresses I have been making, awarding myself each day with self-respect and honor. As taking it one day at a time, in current time and situation we are globally in, inner peace and health comes as a priority for me. The last eight weeks, as I continue studying a masters program in which I have explored a rich tapestry of insight into consciousness, physiology, learning, and purpose.

So how do you do it? Writing consist of a lot of alone, quiet time, focus and action. William Zinsser, On Writing Well, pg. 245, emphasizes, how writing is not going to do it itself. Yes, we have now the technology to possibly do it all for us, however, artificial intelligence doesn't know your true story, feelings... At least for me, physically using my hands to write or type, speak live, creates a more pure platonic experience. It's almost like leaving a blueprint on the physical body. I do think voiceover is a beautiful expression of writing as well. Writing also consist of inspiration. Whether I am traveling, reading someone else's memoir at a library, it's ignites these sparks internally with ideas to keep on writing about what I love the most and have interest in learning. The brain loves new information.

Some of the insight that has been coming up lately is: staying consistent with weekly journal publishings for the next few months. Whether I publish a journal or poem on this platform of mine, every Sunday, simply to be accountable for what I say will do. Learning in my master program, I now have understanding in depth of how things become effortless with repetition. This insight has been particularly helpful in breaking unproductive habits and replacing them with ones that support my higher goals like waking up early, moving my body, journaling and planning with intention. Instead of forcing outcomes, I now try to flow with awareness, staying connected to purpose while allowing natural intelligence to support the process.

My dear readers, may your heart is pure, may your mind be clear, and remember to let your eyes rest after staring at the computer screen for hours while writing a long journal!

Much love and blissing,

Gasija
